Once a year, the 10 Nexus community gathers in one place — for days of intentional learning, honest storytelling, and the kind of celebration that reminds you why you chose this life.
At 10 Nexus, we believe retreats are where people remember who they are — and who they are becoming. Rise Retreats is the annual culmination of that conviction: an interdisciplinary learning festival that blends the depth of Nexus Voices with the warmth of our salons, and wraps it all in movement, arts, culture, and joy.
There are no keynotes. No panels. No passive audiences. Only presence, storytelling, shared inquiry — and the kind of celebration that honors everyone who showed up fully.

Day One
Arrive & Open
Welcome dinner, opening circle, and the first honest conversations. You arrive as a stranger and leave as something more. The "Ask & Give" ritual begins — because we take ownership of each other's growth from the first evening.
Day Two
Learn & Explore
Immersive workshops, cross-disciplinary dialogue, and storytelling sessions facilitated by community members. No passive listening — only participation. Networks are the classroom, and stories are the curriculum.
Day Three
Create & Connect
Collaborative projects, cultural experiences, movement, and arts. The day you make something together — and discover what you're capable of in a room full of people who truly see you.
Day Four
Rise & Celebrate

Where Rise comes from

10 Nexus began on a brisk fall evening in September 2018, after Burning Man — 15 of us, leaders, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, storytellers, and artists gathered at an 850-square-foot apartment by the East River in Williamsburg, New York. We set intentions. We shared stories. We left changed.
Since then, we have hosted hundreds of salons and dinners across six continents — in private homes, on luxury river boats along the Mekong, in cultural spaces from Ho Chi Minh City to San Francisco to Oxford. Every gathering has asked the same question: what matters most to you?
Rise Retreats is that first evening, scaled into days. The same intimacy. The same honesty. The same conviction that when the right people gather in the right room, transformation follows — not from a speaker on a stage, but from one another.
